currently, i am an economist at the German Federal Ministry of Finance, research fellow at the DIW Berlin and guest lecturer at the University of Potsdam. Previously I held a senior economist position at the Forecasting and Economic Policy department of the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW Berlin) until 2021. My research covers Macroeconomics with a specific focus on Migration, Fiscal Policy and Inequality. I have studied Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and the University of Potsdam where I finished my dissertation in September 2014.
